Monterey Mexican Grill in Bay Minette

Very good food. We had shrimp fajitas and split the one. Our meal because we drink qater was only 15 because I bought extra wraps. Staff was very friendly.

Adequate Mexican cuisine at moderate prices. Nice lunch menu selection and friendly wait staff.....

This restaurant is decent. There is a better Mexican restaurant in town. Their portion size is really small and the food is alright. Unfortunately the food is just decent and nothing great.

You want mexican food? Guess what, they got it. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Friendly and inviting, great food and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are actually eating mexican food in a mexican restaurant.

I wouldn't know how the food is. Angel never brought it to our table after the table of 6 who ordered after us got their food. We said we would pay for our drinks a Sweet Tea and Water we were leaving. Angel wanted to argue when my husband who complained about our 45 minutes wait.. Angel was yelling at the Waitresses. His attitude tonight makes me not want to ever go back.

Food and service are great!

Gotten better since my last review but they are still struggling with money. I usually get the burrito loco which is $10.50 before tax. Tax % isn't enough to make it $15 before a tip. My price is always different despite getting the same thing every day.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever found. And it's one of the best places to eat in Bay Minette.

Very friendly and funny staff. Food was awesome! Local customers helped suggest a couple things to do between the tropical storm warning pop up storms that were a lot of fun in the time we had. We didn't have to stay in motel room watching tv!

MMonterey Mexican Restaurant is a great place for a family dinner. I love the combinations you can order here. Stop in for lunch. They have great specials at reasonable prices. A really nice atmosphere here makes it a good place to meet up for a date night out. Remember, Margaritas are great too!

went here tonight with my family. food subpar. but my daughter was eating and a cockroach walked onto her napkin!! got up to leave told waitress and nothing done no apology nothing!! paid 60 for cockroaches!

Took forever for us to get our order placed. When the food finally came, one order was wrong and my burrito had black hairs on it. The waiter actually said, "Oops! That happens sometimes."Definitely will never return

Decent food at a decent price. Nice covered outside area for dining. Have heard many people complain about the management, although I have never had a problem. Menu offers a wide variety of entrees and drinks.

Food was mediocre, cheese dip that they suggest right when you walk in the door was cold, had to be microwaved. Waitress was nice but the food was bad. Guacamole was brown. And it was a dirty restaurant.

Not good, the piña colada had no taste and the presentation of their food was poor and tasteless... Over priced for the amount of food that they serve....

Decent enough. Nothing special. Interior was a bit dingy. Lunch prices were very fair.

Great food, fast service. Kids loved the roosters painted on the booths. Tiles were pretty. Could use some new paint on the walls maybe, but all in all, we had an excellent meal.

Monterrey's restaurant in Bay Minette, is a great place for lunch, dinner, and after work parties. Caesar, the manager, is a great guy and the service is first-rate! We had karaoke there a couple of Fridays ago and I hope that they have it more often! there's not a whole lot of things to do after work in Bay Minette and I think this would be fun for a lot of people! Their bar needs some work but they are very quick to get your drink or beer to you!

Los patroness is way better......cleaner and better service. The restaurants here are atrocious..... and the staff is cheap. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GO TO LOS PATRONESS up the road

We love eating here! Definitely one of the best Mexican we've had. However, some consistency would be nice. I always order either the taco salad or the fajita quesadilla and it's never made the same way twice. The flavor is great, but it would be nice to know what to expect.
